The BMC Participation Statement says that:
"The BMC recognises that climbing and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions"
We take into account the weather, avalanche risk together with the current rock and snow conditions to give you the best learning experience based on your individual needs and aspirations. Courses are therefore flexible as your safety is of paramount importance to us.
Ron Walker and Fi Chappell teach on most of the courses themselves. We are not merely a 'Guide Booking Agency' website based in another part of the country with a long list of ‘Associate Guides' - we are the LOCAL Cairngorm guides.
When we do need to bring in extra staff to ensure the quality of instruction and maximum safety, we'll use only the most experienced, qualified and friendly local instructors. Many we've known, worked and climbed with for a number of years.
Finally, by using our local knowledge gained from more than thirty years living, guiding, climbing and skiing in Scotland, we'll take you to the most inspirational and fun teaching venues.
